The Ahwatukee Devils Baseball & Softball Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing young athletes both on and off the field. Founded on principles of character, discipline, and competitive excellence, we field teams from 9U through 16U that compete at the highest levels of youth baseball and softball. Our coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for the game, while fostering a family-centered environment that values positive support and community involvement. Through year-round training, competitive play, and additional opportunities like club-led workouts and individual instruction, the Devils aim to prepare our athletes for success in sports and life.
To develop young athletes into skilled, confident, and respectful competitors by teaching the fundamentals of baseball and softball, instilling strong character values, and promoting a love for the game in a supportive and disciplined team environment.
To be the premier youth baseball and softball club in Arizona, recognized for our excellence in player development, our commitment to character, and our strong sense of community-where every athlete has the opportunity to grow, compete, and thrive both on the field and beyond.
Growing up, Scott spent countless hours on the field, perfecting his skills and learning the value of teamwork. However, as the years went by, he noticed a gap in the opportunities available for young athletes—particularly in softball. There were talented players everywhere, but many lacked access to the resources and mentorship needed to elevate their game and reach their full potential.
That realization sparked a dream. Scott envisioned something more than just another fast-pitch program. He wanted to create a community where players felt supported, challenged, and inspired. A place where Ahwatukee Devils wasn’t just a name—it was a way of life.
With that vision in mind, Ahwatukee Devils was born. Scott started with a small group of players, a handful of supportive parents, and a commitment to fostering a culture of hard work, positivity, and growth. It wasn’t always easy; there were long hours, tough decisions, and the challenges of building something from scratch. But Scott’s passion never wavered.
Under Scott’s leadership, Ahwatukee Devils quickly gained a reputation for excellence. It became a program where players not only developed their athletic skills but also grew as individuals. Scott’s coaching philosophy is simple yet profound: focus on the fundamentals, cultivate a love for the game, and always represent the Ahwatukee Devils with pride—both on and off the field.
Today, Ahwatukee Devils is more than just a program—it’s a family. Thanks to Scott’s dedication, countless athletes have discovered their potential, built lasting friendships, and experienced the joy of competing at their best. His story is a testament to the power of vision, hard work, and a deep belief in the next generation.
For Scott, Ahwatukee Devils isn’t just about the game. It’s about leaving a legacy—one pitch, one practice, and one player at a time.
